Manus | What is it good at?

I got access to Manus few days ago. I was so excited to give it go.

Most content creators give Manus tasks that it’s known to be really good at. So I wanted to try something different.

I asked Manus to get me a client.

What I observed is that it is quite powerful, it understands the task really well, and goes on researching everything. It looked at my LinkedIn profile and got my location from there and then looked for prospects local to me. I didn’t expect it to do that.

But still I wouldn’t rely on the data it gave me because there were some obvious redundancy.

Then I asked it to create a portfolio website for me. It did a pretty good job at that, even though the design is not ideal it’s functional and complete.

Then I asked it to create a logo for the website but it stopped in the middle because the context was too long.

I asked for a logo in a different task and it did a very bad job at it.

How I got Access

I got on the waitlist sometime back but didn’t get access.

Then I saw this YouTube video of a guy who said he got access by saying that he teaches people how to make money with AI.

I gave it another go, instead of what he said about his profession, I said that I create content on AI. This time I also gave a business email. I got access the next day with 2 task credits.

If you still can’t get access but want to try it out, you can ask it in the @ManusAI_HQ in X(Twitter). They will run the task for you and share the link.

In the access grant email you get a link to join their Discord and I recommend that you join so you can get support from them by posting any issues there.

What is Manus good at?

So far I see that Manus is very good at creating websites, and any kind of research, writing articles although it sounds robotic the content is very good.

Overall I am positive, but it’s still not as ground breaking as all the AI YouTubers are hyping. Though I think that eventually it’ll get there.
