My favourite creators in the AI and automation space

Where I learned from

I’ve been following some incredible creators who break down complex topics, share practical insights, and make AI and automations more approachable.

In this episode of Bot & Beyond, I want to highlight four of my favourites: Nick Saraev, Jono Catliff, Tina Huang, and Grant Sanderson.

Each of them brings something unique to the table, and if you’re into creating something with AI and automation, you’ll want to check them out.

Grant Sanderson (@3blue1brown)

Before using AI in automations, I wanted to understand what it is and how it works. This YouTube channel is where I found the most digestible content on the subject.

If you want to see math and AI concepts come to life, Grant Sanderson is the guy to watch. His YouTube channel, 3Blue1Brown, is famous for its stunning visual explanations that make even the most complex topics feel intuitive.

This channel has got so many videos that help you understand why things work the way they do. Whether he’s breaking down neural networks, linear algebra, or calculus, his animations make abstract concepts really click.

His video on neural networks is a must-watch if you want to grasp how AI learns from data. He walks you through the logic behind each step, making it feel natural rather than intimidating.

Tina Huang (@TinaHuang1)

Tina Huang is an ex-Meta data scientist, creating content on YouTube about AI, coding, tech, career and self-study.

I love her content because of her authenticity and transparency that shines through.

She often does live streams and if you are into AI agents, I recommend you watch the last two (AI agents crash course and Building AI agents). I watched them multiple times and I love that fact that if you can join live, you can ask questions and get answers directly.

Nick Saraev (@nicksaraev)

I watched a lot of make.com tutorial from Nick when I started, I really like the way teaches. His goes in-depth and explains all the technical components to the best of his ability.
Now he's moved on to n8n and AI agents. He’s got some business content as well which I really like.

If you want to learn make.com or n8n from ground up, I highly recommend Nick's channel.

Jono Catliff (@jonocatliff)

Jono has got so many tutorials on make.com in his YouTube channel, just like Nick, he's now creating content on n8n and agents.

Jono is also one of the creators I used to learn from at the beginning. I highly recommend his channel.

Both Nick and Jono share their make/n8n blueprints for every tutorial for free on Gumroad.

These four creators have helped me learn a lot when I first started and I hope you find value in the their content too.

If you follow any of them already, let me know which of their insights have helped you the most!

Who are your favorite AI and automation creators? Reply and let me know—I’d love to discover more.

Catch you next week!
